I collect materials from nature or my garden and or neighbors' gardens to make my baskets. I use yucca leaves, different types of dracaena leaves and certain types of agave leaves. I make some types of baskets using different types of prunings from bushes and trees mostly when they are suppose to be pruned. I sometimes make baskets using sea kelp when I have the opportunity to go to the ocean to collect it. I experiment with materials I've never used before, too. You can see that I love to embellish my baskets with shells, seed pods and anything else I think would make a basket look interesting.
